Some pics from the Collectors team at the Border Relay for Life October 2008

Well here's a few of us. It's not all of us of course, as people were coming and going all 24 hours.
In management speak this probably constituted 'critical mass'.
These were the official digs of The Collectors. It looks to be quite a flash marqee huh. Well. Those present on Friday evening were thankful I didn't have the camera out when we were trying to assemble the frame. Now there was a conceptual and practical challenge....

And see those eskies? They were to keep our fluids up. Very important.

we drank
we rested when we were weary...
we ate more
we waved our batons
we celebrated (don't try to get a job pouring beer, Ange)
we were silly
some were sillier than others...
we laughed
we drank
 
we hugged friends
and we made a heap of money for cancer research.
