'Fas' is in foal to Suncrest Sadaqa's Pride, a lovely young Chip Chase Sadaqa stallion owned by Willow.

21/10/06 SC Fortitude (Cudglebar Manak x Omani Stylist) is 1st MWT and BC at Waterloo 80k ride VIC, ridden by Meg Wade (below left). The first horse I have bred to win outright. Big day!

8/10/06 - SC Fortitude completes his first ride out of novice for 1st Lightweight and Best Conditioned at Bright 80k VIC. Ridden by Chelsea Miller - well done! (above right)

2/10/06 Cudglebar Tarquin completes his first 100 miler with Sue McLaughlin, living up to his nickname of 'chestnut flyer' in a ride time of 11:39 for 3rd LWT. Congratulations Sue.

This week's winner is Tina Camm of Ocean Grove VIC with the safe (albeit not problem free) arrival of 'Indy' a purebred filly by Hyksos Benjamin from Tina's yellow book mare Damazaylia. More photos under 2006 Foal Gallery.

This week's loser unfortunately, Splitters Creek.
Vale Jirrima Switch Me aka 'Pony' (even though she grew to 15.1h), 3/4 arab mare by Arundel House Zermat.
A beautiful big strong young mare that I will miss. My hopes to see her first foal and many to come are not to be.
Now in horse heaven - where I'm sure there are no droughts.

9/9/06 - My favourite horse SC Fortitude (Cudglebar Manak x Omani Stylist) successfully completes his qualifying endurance
ride at Stanley VIC. Now officially a yellow book endurance horse.

Jirrima Ultra Minx journeys to Coffs Harbour to be bred to Hyksos Sabok (leased to Alison Bradshaw.)
SC Watch the Tempo relocates in QLD and is back in work.
SC Funky Paws goes to Vancouver Park to be broken.
Phew! Made the transport companies rich this week!

5/6/06 - SC Juliet (Cudglebar Manak x Cudglebar Rabi), my poddy foal now rising 5 y.o. comes home after being broken to saddle.

26/5/06 - Update on SC Xena's breaking (SC Fortitude x CC Sinarli) . Rob Webster sent this photo, says 'she is going great'.

• 15/5/06 Splitters Creek Centaur (Cudglebar Manak x Cudglebar Piety) aka 'Bobby' comes home from being broken to harness and saddle. Another 'chestnut flyer' in the making. Speccie photos shortly.

• 14/5/06 Sue McLaughlin and Cudglebar Tarquin 1st LWT at The Rock NSW 80k ride, half a horse off line honours!

• 14/5/06 Hyksos Abbey (Cudglebar Rasuli [exp NZ] x Hyksos Trysting by Cudglebar Caleb [by Cudgebar Nur Ed Dam]) qualifies as a yellow book endurance horse at the Garabaldi ride in VIC. Job well done Linda. Abbey's now out for a little spell.

• Old Cudglebar Nur Ed Dam (pic below right) laid to rest. Galloping with his old girlfriends in horse heaven.
  
  

  

• 24/4/06 - a big morning with the vet, gelded 4 colts - SC Cypress, SC Nimrod, SC Silver Flight and SC Angus. 3 positive preg tests - Omani Stylist and SC Juliet (YAY!!) (to Hyksos Benjamin), Claire the standardbred to SC Red Jewel.
  26 y.o. Aloha Minuet laid to rest.
  
  
• 23/4/06 SC Shamara (view pedigree) is tested positive to Kalkadoon Pinjarra (view pedigree).

• 16/4/06 - Hyksos Abbey completes her 2nd 80k ride with Linda Penhall at Mt Cole VIC, excellent recoveries and straight A's.
  
  
• 16/4/06 - Cudglebar Tarquin and Sue McLaughlin are 5th LWT at Tumbarumba NSW 100k ride with good recoveries.

• 3/4/06 SC Xena (SC Fortitude x Chip Chase Sinarli) rising 4yo, proved to be a cool customer on her first float trip (with Uncle Pete) and pictured here in her new yard at horse breakers, Rob Webster.

 

• 26/3/06 Hyksos Abbey completes her first 80k ride with Linda Penhall, at Waterloo VIC. Cudglebar Tarquin and Sue McLaughlin 1st LWT at Wandandian 80k ride NSW. What a team they are proving to be! Great photos from Duncan McLaughlin - think you should stop riding Dunc and be the team photographer!

• 20/3/06 SC Briana (Barnon Imperial Jack x Aloha Arctic Gold) and her future rider have their first ride.

 

• Also at Rankins Springs, SC Sultan has his first outing and successfully completes the 40km harness drive with me and my co-driver Debra Kuhne. 48 pre-ride (very excited!) and 38 post. A pleasing result.

• At Jirrima, the 28 y.o. foundation mare Chip Chase Sinarli is laid to rest. Sinarli was the dam of my mares Jirrima La Syn and SC Xena, and the grand dam of Jirrima Switch Me. More info on Jirrima website.

• 27/2/06 New arrival, Jirrima Switch Me (Arundel House Zermat x Change of Heart view pedigree ) part arab mare,
  3/4 arab 1/4 riding pony, 15.1 hands, PTIF to Kala's Image, grey TB 16.2hh.

14/2/06 Vale Castlebar Janzen. Lost during foaling. A very sad day.
