All stallions

Service fee - $660 (plus $110 non-refundable booking & handling fee) = $770 in total

When is the service fee due to be paid?
The balance is payable in full when a 42 day positive pregnancy test is achieved.

What other expenses will you incur?
Agistment and veterinary expenses. (Routine preg test approx $40)
Agistment will be billed monthly.
Payment of expenses including service fee is due in full on or before your mare goes home.

On booking, you will be asked to sign an agreement that you will not be given the original service certificate until
your account has been paid in full.

What if your mare doesn't have a foal?
A free return service is available if you do not get a foal that lives 7 days. The return is transferable to another mare and can be used for any stallion standing at public stud in the relevant season. The service fee is not generally refundable.

Other information:

• I generally tease and serve mares in stock yards. I am not really set up to cater for problem mares that require twitching, hobbling etc, however I am happy to discuss any particular problems with you.
  
  
• Aged mares: consider having your vet take a uterine sample to ensure she is worth spending my time and your money on - especially if she hasn't been bred for some time or has a poor breeding history.
  
  
• Visiting mares would generally be paddocked alone or with a compatible friend.
  Foot trimming and drenching can be done as needed and charged to you at cost.
  
  I would prefer not to take mares with foals.
  
  
• Your mare is not covered for death by any of my insurance policies - should you wish to take out insurance, please arrange with your insurer for the duration of the visit.
