Important stuff!
Artifical breeding
can be VERY expensive and the success rates are variable.
**
You need to be aware that you could easily spend the cost of the service
fee just on insemination expenses (and still not get a foal)! Ask me for
a copy of the frozen semen thawing protocol - it will give you an idea
of all the work involved to inseminate at the optimal time.

Artificial breeding
is not for those uncomfortable with risk or on a limited budget.
Discuss with your
AI centre or Veterinarian and ask whether your mare is a good candidate
for artificial breeding, and the costs involved.
Check with your breed
society whether any special paperwork is required.
